How I'm Using Claude Code for My Note Taking System

I spent last week rebuilding my entire note-taking workflow around Claude Code.

Not because I’m an AI fanboy.

Because I got tired of my note-taking system breaking down.

I was capturing daily notes in Apple Notes (for mobile), storing permanent notes in Zettelkasten (for thinking), and trying to connect them manually every week.

Then I took a Claude course and realized something obvious:

AI doesn’t need pretty interfaces. It needs raw data.

So I moved everything to plain text or MD files.

Now Claude reads my interstitial work journal notes, analyses my permanent notes, and generates business artifacts I can use immediately.

The 3-System Stack:

  1. Capture: Interstitial journal in plain text (worklog entries)
  2. Process: AI analysis generates newsletter drafts, LinkedIn posts, business ideas
  3. Execute: Copy-paste ready content, no more staring at blank pages

This week alone, Claude helped me:

  • Draft 3 newsletter emails from my trading and coding notes
  • Extract 5 LinkedIn posts ideas from my daily captures
  • Identify 2 business opportunities I was manually solving
  • Map my learning across 4 domains (coding, trading, my MBA, and endurance training)

These days, I treat content is exhaust from my business, not engine.

I'm not publishing for views, likes, clicks or shares.

Basically, I build or create something with AI... and then document the process using this newsletter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

AI is helping me refine this workflow even further.
