I built a Telegram bot in 15 minutes with Clawdbot.

Then, I deleted everything.

Clawdbot (now rebranded as Moltbot after legal issues with a certain AI vendor) is the latest rage in AI automation.

It's aersonal AI assistant.

You can use it to send emails, manage calendar, interact with online services. All from the command line.

I built an interactive Telegram bot that gave me updates on my calendar, email and coding projects.

15 minutes from zero to working bot.

But I uninstalled it after a few hours.

I didn’t like giving AI that level of control over my services.

Plus the security model was concerning—some passwords stored unencrypted.

Still an impressive piece of engineering.

I may revisit in a few months.

It also gave me an idea for creating a Telegram that's much more secure with Claude Code.

I'm already use it to manage my content library on the go.

It pulls out insights and ideas from older pieces of content, like this newsletter, and suggests what Is should write about next.

It's kind of like a custom coded "On This Day..." memory for content creators.

If you'd like to see it in action, reply and tell me.
