McDonalds AI ad fail

Viewers are not loving it.

The Madmen at McDonald's used AI for a rather awful Christmasy ad

Cue pseudo X outrage

And a scramble to take the ad down.

US production company The Sweetshop is behind the ad.

Chief executive Melanie Bridge claimed thousands of takes

(Perhaps she means AI outputs)

"This wasn't an AI trick. It was a film," she doth protested too much

I'm not sure why people are so surprised about fast-food brands experimenting with AI to cut costs.

Whatever you think about the ad, McDonald's is a master at keeping costs down.

Every Big Mac tastes the same whether you're in Dublin (near my hometown) or Denver.

Every process is documented.

Every system is replicable.

For the past year, I've written 365+ emails (no AI) that have:

  • Built my list to 16K+ subscribers
  • Sold workshops at $47-297
  • Generated consistent revenue on autopilot

I don't use AI to write my emails. Instead, I've a simple system that helps me keep the cost of cognitive overload and idea generation down.

That's because I don't want to reinvent the wheel 365 times a year.

If you need help with yours or you want to read about my system, check out inside The 6-Figure Email Vault.

You'll discover:

  • The exact story frameworks that turn cold subscribers into hot buyers
  • 21 content patterns I cycle through (so I never run out of ideas)
  • My "Chief Idea Officer" method for 10X-ing output without losing authenticity
  • The contrarian angles that get responses (and sales)
  • Real examples of emails that converted at 3-5%
